BACKGROUND:

Organic Planet began as the organic ingredients division of H.P. Schmid, Inc., an international food-trading house established in 1978.  H.P. Schmid’s trade relations and economies of scale position Organic Planet perfectly to competitively service the rapidly growing needs of the organic food ingredients marketplace. We specialize in quality, convenience, and competitive pricing.  Our national warehouse program offers a comprehensive selection of commodities in warehouses conveniently located for pick-up or delivery, whether you require mixed pallets or full container loads.

ORDERS:

Organic Planet is designed to service orders from mixed pallets to full truckloads.  We will work with you to get you product efficiently from our East or West Coast warehouses around the U.S. as well as Canada.

 

SERVICES:

Quality Control: All processing facilities and raw materials must meet our high QC standards.

Lab Testing: All products are third party lab-tested (results available to our customers).

Logistics: We will work closely with you to get you the products you need cost effectively, on time.

Information: Our knowledgeable staff and planet-wide relationships allow us to offer our customers strategic market intelligence, as well as up to date information on availability and pricing.

NON-GMO VERIFICATION SYSTEM:

The use of GMO (genetically modified organism) products is prohibited in organic food production. At Organic Planet we adhere to the industry standards to verify the non-GMO use claim. Audit trail procedures used to substantiate the non-GMO status, and test results if applicable, are available to our clients.
